Adventure of Confused Mind

by vaibhav shah   Mar 26, 2008

I want to write something
But words fail me to express
My sweet emotions
Full of bitter experience
I want to make a comparison
Between the two, but.....
I dont know
Which comes first?
Are these sweet emotions
That come out of bitter experience
Or vice versa
I cant say
I am eager to find
But can never mind
Though it troubles me
Offers also a reason
To think of something
Which I had long forgotten
I want to think
I wish to drink
The pleasure of pain
Or the pain of pleasure
I dream but I can not sleep
I scream but I can not weep
I have a deep reason to cry
I desire but I can not fly
I want to write everything
But the feeling which comes is nothing.

Without a doubt, this is my favorite one of your poems so far...and I thought that would be hard to do-your poems are all really deep and thought out.
This one throws you on a ride of emotions, with the oxymorons, and confusion that you can feel. The recurring lines really help the poem along. One of my favorite lines is: 'I dream but I can not sleep' But all of them are really good. I wish I could give you a six :P
The only thing to change, I would say, is this:
'Offers also a reason'--it needs 'it' before it, or something, just to make it flow better.
Really an excellent job. I look forward to more.
Also, this is out of your normal style...why is really good. It's always a good thing to try different ways of doing what you love! Keep it up!

this poem is very good, interesting and pleasure to read. you have wonderfully stated the inner state of mind, it is a true poetic venture.......

one wants to do so much but fail in the endeavour terribly because of utter confusion...
you have managed to arrange the confusion in order and expressed what we all feel time to time.
well done keep it up...your lovely poem has driven away the confusion.
