My Life In Replay

by lost in the words   Mar 28, 2008

Every day is supposed to mark a new beginning
But in her hell filled, upsetting, boring life
A new day doesn't mark a new beginning
It marks another day she doesn't want to be here
Another day she doesn't want to care,
Or feel the pain that lies with every breathe she takes

A new day is simply the day before just in replay
The same pain, the same unwillingness to do anything
The same tears that fall from her pale withered face

But somewhere inside of her she finds the strength
To keep pressing the replay button in her mind,
To keep feeling that same pain, or that unwillingness
Or to keep watching the same tears fall to the ground

Because she believes that she'll get through it all
That soon she'll be able press play and every day will mark a new beginning
That she'll feel no pain or a new pain and she'll want to be here
That she'llwant to care and she'll want to take every single breath
