Simple kisses

Simple kisses are not worth the pain
Yet the temptation is so inviting
"Enter at your own risk"
Is hiding in the fine print
On the glorious invitation
That you think you have been waiting
For your whole life
Some blessings were never blessings at all
Curses were intended to stay as curses
No facades apparent
Just my own ignorance
A pain I obviously deserve
Innocence cannot save me now.
