Flight 306

by Tony Rifas   Mar 30, 2008

I'd rather fall into the endless darkness of my dreams
Than waken every day accepting things the way they seem
If love is lost, then so am I
I've had it once, now I can die
When will I?

The pilot of love's sacred flight
Has disappeared into the night
Will he return with the new day
Or is this darkness here to stay?

It may just sound like craziness,
Like I'm speaking out through the haziness
But while I fight my way through this
I swear it's only you I miss

Try I may, and try I might
To be with someone else tonight
Just to say I didn't break
Trust me, it's too hard to fake
