Vicious Cycle

My mind's of a cycle
It spins and it churns
No issues resolved, no
They always return

Late in the night
Still burning the oil
My mind's of a cycle
It makes my blood boil

It tries to move forward
And that, yes it does
But stuck in a circle
Now back where it was

As time presses on
My mind's not forgetting
It's trying so hard
My heart's just not letting
