I lied.

This is my first attempt in nearly two years.. So be nice! Haha.

I told you I was okay;
I lied.

But it's almost as if you didn't hear me anyway.
For years my words have been falling on deaf ears.

My cries for help;
Un-noticed . . .

My bitter tears;
So wasted . . .

My hopes & dreams;
. . . Crushed.

Who would have thought that
. . . eight years of friendship would come down to this.
Who would have thought that
. . . I would be the one to let go.
Who would have thought that
. . . this would be the way that it ended.

It's hard to admit that I know you don't care.

I told myself I was okay . . .
I lied.
