Unfamiliar Faces

by ShatteredAngel   Mar 24, 2006

A sea of familiar faces drown her
It's as if she's never seen them before
No longer can she
- Feel their warmth
- See their smiles
- Hear their laughter
No longer can she
- Feel their love
Her vision now warped and filled with lies
Lies of
- Hope & Peace
No longer can she pretend
Now all she can do is dream

Wow, there's something so cold and disturbing about it, like all that was familiar has been twisted and messed up. I suppose that happens to us all, the things we think we see can end up distorted. Great, original writing, impressed :D:D:D
