A Dream on a Shooting Star

by StuPiD FrEaK   Mar 31, 2008

Every time the night comes and covers the sky with darkness
I see myself staring at those bright stars
Thinking if it would be possible to count such brightness
It seems impossible like my dreams are

People in this world have many dreams in their lives
It only depends if they'll do their best to make a start
Will they just entrust their desires on a star so bright?
Or will they make a move following their heart?

How many stars are there in such clear, dark sky?
How many people are there in every place?
How many dreams come true night after night?
How many of these bring smiles on a face?

My eyes closed and I slept all the way
As I ponder about the questions I always ask
I think I made myself busy for a day
To sleep and miss that shooting star that passed

Thanks! =] I made it because I realized that I was just entrusting my wishes on stars. But now, I know that I have to move so I can make my dreams come true. Teehee!

This is so awesome, I just love it! This was my favorite part:

"Will they just entrust their desires on a star so bright?
Or will they make a move following their heart?"

This just was so great and well-thought out.
People may not follow their heart, but they may. I think it is a perfect poem and I love
every line of it. Good job!
