It's Not My Fault You Don't Think I'm Being Sincere.

It's Not My Fault You Don't Think I'm Being Sincere, Even Though I Am

Worship my every move and take in who I am,
there's not much time left between us, dear.
I'm telling you the truth, before it's way too late -
just take it all in, so you won't leave empty handed.

The words don't seem enough for me any longer,
and the pain just increases day by day by day.
Feelings seem to decrease, tensions seem to rage,
and I can't seem to make sentences to fit the love page.

There's more than meets the eye between you and I,
it's a failed love, failed marriage, and everything that could be.
But, there's more than meets the heart as well, you see -
it's what we had and how we felt towards one another.

It's not my fault you don't think I'm being sincere,
even though I am, I know you can't tell.
I'm not looking to bash you, just let you know the truth -
so this love, so weak, doesn't ruin the rest of your youth.

A heart so feeble, young, and pure - isn't ready for more,
it's a mind set to battle the good and the bad, which you don't have.
And, I'm sorry for the pain I've caused, the grief you shall bare,
I just hope you realize that it's something, in the end, we shall share.
