Crimson Glass

by AmberSherrellxxIve Been Sitting Here Trying To Find Myselfxx   Apr 4, 2008

The words you speak
Sound oh so sweet
But everytime I turn my back
You knock me off my feet

Instead of catching me
You let me fall
I'm crying scarlet tears
As on my knees I crawl

My bed of sunset roses
Has become a bed of glass
I'm struggling through the shatters
Trying to make us last

Piece by piece
I'm sliced to the core
Crying my eyes dry
Because it's you I adore

Your lies are now transparent
I can see stright passed
But I'll continue to sleep
Upon this bed of crimson glass

I think the flow of this piece needs some work, but I love the idea, and especially the ending. that was really great!
