Bleed well, Blooming rose

by Cooper   Apr 5, 2008

My heart's a graveyard,
cold and bitter
stone flowers wilting 'neath my feet as I walk
the funeral of the soul of our souls
rain drops silver and red in passionate arts.

But with her smile of reasons unsaid,
roses bloom on my skin
the thorns upon my fingertips
as I caress her breaths and
kiss her lips of forgotten miseries,
my own heart beats in my pupils.

Follow me, tread the stairs of the serpent's spine,
it's rivers of venom fading to oceans blue
I drink from like the fountain of youth
and see her dawning face upon grey horizon,
lighting my darkened angel's wings.

Bleed well my soul about to taste
the passion burning bridge,
bleed well my heart about to fail,
girl you're the rose moon, colourfully pale,
blooming upon my darkness,
my blood's turned to lighter shades of white.
Bleed well, bleed well,
girl you landed where I fell.
