Artificial Happiness

by Tina   May 24, 2004

Swallow me whole,
I'll make you happy,
You'll smile and no longer be depressed,
I'm magical.
Take me with liquid,
laugh and play!
I'm the happiness pill.
My name is Prozac.
what is yours?
Eat me eat me!
you'll always be happy!
Never again will you cut!
I sound like a good guy huh?
I sound like a good guy until you get hurt.
I am an anti-depressant that can cause depression.
What is wrong with this picture?
Teenagers have died because of me.
I am Artificial Happiness.. you will still have your problems
I just make you forget about them.
I brainwash you into thinking your ok, but your not!
Psycho! Your Crazy! Depressed!
But out of the good I help you!
And what do I get in return nothing.
I probably saved you but there are some that can’t be saved from themselves.
Looking at the bottle on my table it screams all of this at me.
I feel like I’m trapped in an Alice and Wonderland movie, or the Matrix.
This pill could change my life, or it could kill me.
What do I have to loose?
I take a glass of water and swallow him whole.. and silently it laughs at me.
