Impossible To Forget You

This peace has provided the blanket,
And the darkness has been a good friend
To the whispers that have come this night
To remind me of you.

The sweet pain of your memory
Bathes my soul with emotion
And brings back to me our youth
that was almost forgotten.

Like an early morning shadow
Holding still for the dawn
Your breath rests in that moment
Then releases to fill me again.

It is impossible to forget you,
And I look forward to these times,
When I can shed the sadness
Over our broken hearts bleeding.

    This is a really deep and heartfelt poem. I can feel this emotions and it brought back memories of my ex. Very well written and this evokes lots of emotions.
