Broken skies

Sweetened shadows in your eyes,
Chilling hearts, it's no surprise,
Tears cascade down my cheeks.

Blue birds sing and angels fly,
The two of you makes me die,
I'm forever on my own.

Heartfelt hugs grasp so tight,
You know I'm missing you tonight,
I'll never be your girl.

Broken rainbows in the sky,
You speak my name; my heart flies,
But will you ever know?

Crimson cheeks blush so red,
envisions of you bounce in my head,
I can't escape your smile.

Tearing up all those notes,
instead of mine now her heart floats,
Will you ever care?

    I liked that stanza alot. You started this piece nicely and held alot of great metaphors throughout the piece. This is a beautiful and touching poem which had a nice flow and excellent description. The was you placed the words came together nicely to form a touching and emotional love poem which I have had the pleasure of reading.
