Are we really friends?

by Nathanilliam   Apr 10, 2008

We sit and talk for hours on end
Usually about unimportant stuff.
On the computer over MSN
And just talk and talk and talk.

But when i see you in the school
When we're surrounded by many friends,
We say hello, and end it at that
Like we don't want others to know.

We hang in the same group
At lunch and in the halls
But do we ever talk
Other than common courtesies?

I may be crazy, I know,
My brain likes to exaggerate,
When I think if I really have any friends
When I think of you it's just the same.

I hope I solve my dilemma soon
Because it can get annoying
That i don't know if your my friend
Or not, I guess time will only tell.

Oh bud. I don't like when people act like that. Im sorry if Im one of them.
Your poem was great, gave me the oh-too familiar confused feeling.

It too was slightly rocky, but for the most part, it went smoothly! Good job!
