Started as a flicker; meant to be a flame

by Behind Blue Eyes   Apr 11, 2008

You think that I hate you. But how could that be?
When our struggle for love was what's made me me?

I know that what happened, happened for a reason.
And that the feelings I had, change with each season.
But that doesn't mean that I don't still feel the pain;
The tears still fall just as heavy as rain.

I put on a smile, and keep my head high
And try not to think of the what if's or why.

I keep my faith alive, and keep believing in fate.
Even if I move on, my hearts still gonna wait.
Forever and ever, even if you never come through
To putting truth behind the feelings that you claimed were true.

Go on with you life, and I'll go one with mine;
This vulnerable, pitiful, less than grand design

    Good poem. Keep writing.
    "I know that what happened, happened for a reason.
    And that the feelings I had, change with each season.
    But that doesn't mean that I don't still feel the pain;
    The tears still fall just as heavy as rain."
    Definetly connected to this part.
