Missin' You

by shanaynay   Apr 12, 2008

I watched as the sun went down,
My slight smile turning to a frown,
The darkness swallowing the faint light,
Watching closely as day turns to night.

I sit there and stare at the glow of the moon,
Maybe you'll come back to me soon,
Feeling the cool breeze brush my skin,
My love for you is like a guiltless sin.

I see you smiling at her from ear to ear,
Your love for her is very clear,
Yet what happened to the love you had for me?
Is this really how it's meant to be?

My feelings for you are still so strong,
Please don't tell me that I'm wrong,
So I'm begging you just once more,
Say I'm the one you love and adore.
