Gone

Wiping the tears from her eyes,
Trying to forget this demise,
Crawling into bed when all cried out,
Heart filling with more and more doubt.

Rising up but finding she's too weak,
Cursing and hating her bad physique,
Hoping that soon she'll be stronger,
Praying that she wont have to wait any longer.

Seeking for her friend's help and advice,
Thinking that they should be more precise,
Trying to figure out what to do,
Wishing they had gone through this too.

Sitting and thinking,
Heart sadden and sinking,
Longing for another kiss on the lips,
To once more feel his skin on her fingertips.

She plops on the nearest chair,
Silence filling the stiff air,
Closing her eyes very tight,
Hoping happier days are in sight.
