Rain

by Amber   Apr 13, 2008

Pitter patter is the sound
I hear when the tiny droplets
reaches the earth, they seem to
relieve all their anger and anguish
when they drop their pound
on the rough, thirsty ground.
The sound of the pittering
and pattering is so relaxing
as you notice all the animals
seem to be asleep or maybe
staring in awe at how such
small little droplets of rain
can help the earth to gain
it's thirst or how those
tiny droplets seem to
make such big noises
at times. Slowly though
the pittering and pattering
of the rain will stop, leaving
the earth and animals hungry
for more.
