Can I find it before I let go?

I lost it a really long time ago
And now my heart is so cold
It used to make my face glow
But now its a feeling that I fold

It kept me awake for long nights
And never left me through the day
But now it became a dim light
That cannot guide me through the way

I'm afraid I wont find it again
Cause I think it no more exists
But I want someone to take this pain
And give me back what I missed

Can I fall in love? Is there a chance?
Or should I leave my heart where it stood?
But I just want to have one last glance
Before I let go of my heart for good
