Forgive her

by StandStill   Apr 15, 2008

Dying is a touchy thing
that is exposed when one sees pain
it's funny-or is it sad?-
how she feels all alone again

Migraine explodes in her head
but it's just a feeling in the numb
when fate twists and turns again
it leaves her blind and dumb

She wants him to forgive himself
for only then can she be free
it wasn't his fault to begin with
but that's a fact he cannot see

The pouring rain washes over
and sunshine explodes again
turbulent and everlasting
is the residue of her sin

She just wants to break down the walls
that others have erected
but pain pins on her porcelain mask
and her dying goes undetected

"It takes some time to let this go, and it shows"
