Maybe I'm not pretty
Or even dress lovely
But I'm beautiful inside
Honest pure and bright

I may not have a good voice

Maybe I don't have those sweet smiles

But I have these honest eyes
That will show you how much I love you

I may be a failure
That causes you much pain and shame
