In That Moment

by lost in the words   Apr 16, 2008

It's in that moment
That you regret everything you once did
And you feel like your betrayed and your hurt
But for some reason you can't explain why

You look into the mirror, disgusted with what you see
The tears start to come now
They're slow at first
But they flow faster now
Faster and faster as they hit the floor

Your heart feels empty
Like it's no longer there
And your once joyful soul
Is now replaced with sorrow
It's once radiant colors are now black

And you no longer feel happy
All you ever feel is depressed
And you dread for the day to end
For you hate waking up the next

And it's in that moment
That you find the strength
To give life one more try
One more try, just one more try. .
