L E G E N D

There is a legend of a man who will rise
From the trials of hell without anguished cries,
He succeeded for a reason, even though he has twice died,
To bring back love, hate and brighten the skies,
But in accomplishing his goal, he was cursed
To walk our earth, until the birth of his first,
The legend states that he cannot love
But bring unworldly peace wanted from above,
In his mission he is destined to be alone,
But for his efforts a light will be shone
Onto his path which shall undoubtedly ever last
The fall of our race, and the death of the last,
But in his time with his people,
He became a symbol not unlike a steeple,
For those who need courage he will be there,
Grab onto him; fix a stare, he’s there,
To give his hand, and guide you through
The challenge to love more than yourself
To share your heart and be content,
He’s your rock, the one and only constant.
