Twirl the rose thorn words
slipping silently through minds
can you hear the bitter echo?
lovely is the cascade of time

Oh, gorgeous pain's fulfilling
alone is just like perfect black
who needs another somebody,
a faceless person to stab you in the back?

Write another poem
and bleed another tear
sinking through a calming ocean
devoid of joy, but lacking fear

Are you listening yet
to what I'm crying?
Reader, I don't think you are..
if you were, I wouldn't still be dying..

history torn at the seams
crimson hearts are still bleeding
on the horizon, bloody oceans gleam
