Soar

Do you ever wonder about life?
Why all these things happen to others,
Yet to others nothing happens at all
To see through these eyes
To see the hardship, the pain

We all continue to strive through it all
Each bearing our own burden
Some as bearing the it as one of taking a life
Others bearing the fact of who they are,
Is a burden in itself

Each day I become stronger,
Being able to carry this burden I have within me
This feeling no one shall know
Its power over me forever growing
I want it to just go away

For as long as I can remember
A burden has resided in this chest
May it be heart ache,
Or the fear of death
It has always been there

But, times change
Burdens are lifted
Lives turned back to the way they were long before
Pain, sorrow, and anguish
All vanish from this life

I no longer care about this burden
Walking away from it all
The past shall not be forgotten
The future not yet unfolding
This present still ever changing

This burden we call life
Being there from birth to death
Finally I have overcame it
I let it come as it must
And go as it pleases
Because now I am free of it all
Finally able to just
Soar

Wow I must say you are an excellent poet. I like how you kept to the point and didn't waver. I also liked how truthful it is. It sounds good and is easy to read to. keep writing I would like to read more.
