Back Into My Life

He finally came back to me,
After the months we never spoke.
Because of one little mistake,
Our entire relationship broke.

He begs me for forgiveness,
For what happened that day.
Slowly pulling me towards him,
He knows all the right things to say.

He talks to me more and more,
Reminding me of every thing I miss.
I thought I could push him away,
But he's the one I long to kiss.

He reopens old, unwanted feelings,
Finding out every thing he needs to know.
Making me fall apart inside,
These tears, they have a never ending flow.

Sometimes I want to go back,
I fear it may happen someday.
But, what if he hurts me again?
Oh, would you do that, Ray?

    A wonderful write by the wonderful Kayla. You did an amazing job of portraying your feelings in this one. It rhymed and flowed very well. and it was very relatable. I love how you ened it with a quesiton, it leaves the reader on edge and wanting more. this is a wonderful poem, and i hope things are working out for you. hang in there babe!
