Answer to her cries ((Collab with Julia))

**This poem is a stanza by stanza conversation. ((Cutter vs. Not-cutter))

My razor blade so small and shiny
holds my secrets even though its so tiny
each cut makes me feel alive
how much more mister razor blade can i survive.

Survival, my dear?
Of what do you speak?
Razor blade kisses don't strengthen you
They only make you weak

they weaken my soul
but all this pain keeps me whole
my razor blade is my best friend
this pain helps my heart mend

How can you say that metal is your friend?
When I am standing here, holding your hand?
I want to help you, but you have to want to be helped
I'm so ready to give you feet with which to stand

Help is something that will not save me
digging deeper into my skin, i love watching my blood start forming little seas
these scars on my arm, they tell stories
they will never be just memories, they always haunt me in my dreams.

Are you so blind to the world
That you cannot see?
Every time you burst through skin
Little pieces die inside of ME

these cuts are slowly killing me
all my cries for help no one seems to see
that this razor blade will reach my wrist
my razor blade i will surely kiss
for helping me release my pain
to take my life, i will no longer be the one to blame.

I see your cries for help
Why do you think I am here?
And my arms are more comforting than the kiss
Can a razor wipe away your tears?

My razor blade can wipe no tears
Dying, now thats my biggest fear
no ones arms have ever reached out for me
no one cares thats all i see.

My arms they reach, love's embrace
please, drop that blade, walk away
now just run to me, I'll make u safe
if you just take my hand, I'll show you the way

**I don't normally write dedications, but this poem is different. I'd like to dedicate it to all of those who don't have a friend to pull them out of their depression, or to help them through whatever they're going through. It is dedicated to all who feel sad, not good enough, helpless, or hopeless...all you need is an answer to your cries. God bless**
