Time

by Prasad Baadkar   Apr 23, 2008

Now thorns don't prick anymore
Pain is so very kind
Memories haunt no more
Happiness is easy to find.
While walking is concerned
Commencing destination provides a hope
No more reversal of fate
For time teaches life how to cope
Difficulties are becoming very very friendly
Mistakes are becoming rare & rare
Now, since no one's there to love & care
After winning, off course loosing's bound to be there.
From the past, without a trace
Reality is in it's present
Why to bother about the future now?
What's lost is forever lost.
Dreaming is of no use without love
Minds waiting in distress for seasons to change
Heart knows, some changed things change no more
Now it's our turn alone to adjust & change.

No truer words could be spoken about what each of us must endure and then move on. A nice poem and I enjoyed the moment when reading it. What more could anyone ask for?

Wonderful poetry of a mature mind who has really understood life. An equipoised state of mind above pleasure and pain. These four lines in themselves make a complete poem.
