Learn Things For Yourself.

[this started as a regular love poem, but then i don't know what happened and i just switched it up...just please tell me if you like it. :)]

What's a girl to do when she's fallen in love?
How can she protect her heart from breaking?
What can be done to keep her smiling, and
What can tell whether this risk is worth taking?

Friends can only go so far in her life,
And he family doesn't count at all.
But she needs some guidance, she needs some help,
Before she makes a mistake, and falls.

She should tell him how she feels, right?
But what if he rejects her.
How can she go on in this life of love,
With No one to protect her?

Lessons are learned when we make mistakes,
And sometimes some risks you just gotta take.
You may not always come out with a smile on your face,
But you will come out with dignity and grace.
You'll understand that there's no time for regrets,
Even when you can't stand him anymore, you'll never forget.
You will finally comprehend that you need to make decisions on your own,
And that yeah, sometimes it hurts, but it's just part of being grown.
You'll understand for once, that even though you may need help,
It's truely best to figure things out, and learn things for yourself.
