What went wrong...

What went wrong in his childhood,
What happened to happy endings.
Travis was never a happy kid as a child,
He lived a life of fear.
His father was an alcoholic,
His mother gave him up at age one.
Travis lived a life in fear up till the age of seven,
He was taken from his home.
Put into a loving place where he knew,
Knew he was forever safe.
His aunt and uncle love him dearly,
They take good care of him.
Travis is living this life,
Where many question him.
Where is your father,
Where is your mother.
Travis is asked this everyday,
He is ripped apart in pain.
Knowing he will never be with his father,
Until years on down the road.
Knowing he has seen his mother once in
seventeen years.
Travis is living a life,
A life of questions.
A life of answers yet to be solved,
What went wrong for him.
