Shelter Within the Storm

Writing you a letter, I hope you know
The name written on the front is yours
Wait until the time is right before you read this
Because this is my heart

Listen to these words
I speak them with truth, ever letter for a reason
You've never known the way I see you
The way I think about you

Walking along the road
Trying to find my way back home
Its getting dark and I've lost my way
Then I see you walking beside me
I knew you were always there

Why couldn't I have met you so long ago
The times where I was lost you could take my hand and lead me
Back to the light and I could hold you in my arms
And tell you the truth

Thank you, Im truly blessed
To have someone like you in my life
I hear your voice and I can't help but smile
I secretly whisper "I love you."
Hear these words, and believe them
Because I've never said anything more true

Ill stand with you in the heart of a storm
You call my name Ill come running
Arms wide ready for anything
Give me a sword and Ill take on everything you have
Cry and Ill wipe away your tears
Ill be the only one

I wish you could understand me
The words I say, the way I feel
Ill walk this road alone, if your not there
Lose myself again in a world so far from here
Without you I am no more than a man
Living amongst giants in a foreign world

Take a plane back to where I belong

    I wish i could take your hand now, when you need me the most but I know God's telling me its not time. Seek patience and He will give it to you. Hang on bay, one day...one day. I'm sitting here at home right now. i could cry myself to sleep w/ just the thought of not being with you. But instaed I try to erase it from my mind because I know I cant do anything about it now. Sometimes it feels so good though. Just to cry and wish with everything I am that you'll somehow come in my door and wipe all my tears away. Take me into a whole new world where we can be together. Its so hard living without you but I know its what we have to do. I hope you dont think I'm shutting you out bc thats the last thing I want. I miss you. I still hope its you when my phone says I have a new message but then I remember I told you not to txt me anymore. Im sorry. its the best thing for us right now. I dont know why and I dont know how I just know it is. Trust me on this. Please...come to me and tell me everythings going to be okay, hug me and never let me go. I hate I sound so desperate but I just miss you so much. I just wanted to let you know...
