Broken hearts, Broken words

by StandStill   Apr 26, 2008

These broken words won't matter
If you won't listen to say I say
My hands are slipping, slipping...
Trying to carry you through this day

I'm picking up these pieces
Broken heart's in my hand
You gave me wings to fly
Now I'm trying to give you feet to stand

How anyone would say that
I don't know how she dared
And truth be told, dear reader,
I'm terrified, I'm scared

What if I'm not strong enough
To get you through this one?
And what if I fall down again,
Buring in the sun?

Please, listen to me now..
I'm screaming at my loudest
She's so wrong, you know
You're different from the rest

Tears are falling down my face
Because you won't ever see
We're going to make it through this,
Simply because we're you and me

**I wrote another one, that was better, and the internet dropped out. To a talking tomato**
