Hole Inside My Chest

I'm Picking Up The Pieces,
But They Just Keep Falling Down.
Breaking Even More
As They Smash Against The Ground.
My Eyes Burn Like Fire
And My Throat Is Closing Tight
Not Quite Sure What To Do,
Too Weak To Even Fight.
My Knees Start To Shake
As I Fall Upon The Floor
Pieces Fall Between The Cracks,
But I Don't Care No More.
I Look Down At My Shirt
As The Stain Stares Back At Me
The Crimson Color Of Defeat
That Only I Can See.
The Hole Deep Inside My Chest
Of Where My Heart Once Was
Now Lies Scattered Around
Just Like It Always Does,
But This Pain That I Feel
Is Unlike Any Other
Band Aids Can't Help Me Now
I Know I Won't Recover.
The Knife Is Glistening At Me
And The Dust Is Coated Thick.
But It'll Do The Job I Want;
A Death So Small And Quick.
So With This Knife I Swiftly Cut
Until The Pain Subsides
Knowing How Good It Feels
With The Freedom That It Provides.

    Another really really good poem.
    Very sad, but fantastic.

    I loved this part:

    I cant really think of much to say that hasnt been said already, all i can say is that you have so much talent, and that this poem is very well writen. i read it twice in a row, it is so good. keep writing, cant wait to read more.
