Awaitingg the day she truly wants to stay....

She gets on the phone
faking that laugh all along
no one can guess how she feels
and if they did, they'd have it wrong

she smiles on the outside
but inside it hurts like hell
living on a prey she made
that one day life will be well

if you listen carefully though
you can hear It in her voice
hiding how she's feeling
like she doesn't have a choice

her tears come at night time
and run gently down her face
since her world turned cold
she seemed to lose her place

she's longing to be loved
holding on to all thats left
but now she has realized
life si nothing but a test

she lays awake at night
a quietly prays for the end
not bothering to care
where her soul they will send

she still doesn't understand
what she must have done wrong
for now she has found that life
is nothing like a song

so she'll go on pretending
and waiting for the day
when everything turns out right
and she truly wants to stay.....
