Choreography of Life

by FELTON PHILLIPS   Apr 29, 2008

Tumultuously tumbling into man's domain
Crying out to express the pain
That is the music of a life to claim.
Sensing this first step
is but one step of many
as the dance that is life
glides into puberty.
The dance now quickening
by the awakening of primal urges
infused with a hormonal cocktail
laced with adrenaline.
The tumultuous tumble
now a quick step
guided by the pulsating beat
of urges and desires eventually
evolving into a fox trot
stiff and rigid with gazes that rarely meet.
At the end the dance
is now devoid of form and rhythm.
The lights are turned out
for the last song
for the last dance
for the last time.
