With A Smile.

by Spoken Silence   May 5, 2008

As I look upon the blood stained walls, from this murder that was committed.
And I see your smiling face as you hold the dripping knife.
I can see the joy you feel with the things you do,
With all the pain and suffering you cause
You do it with a smile.

As you walk into the store and take all you need,
Without a payment or a life you leave to say goodbye.
I can see the joy you feel with the things you do,
With all the pain and suffering you cause
You do it with a smile.

You spread your lies for all to hear to see what they can do,
You watch all reactions as they turn to sad.
I can see the joy you feel with the things you do,
With all the pain and suffering you cause
You do it with a smile.

With everything you do there is never a frown on your face.
With all the murder you commit you could care less.
I can see the things you do,
You do it with a smile

I really like this. I love the repitition of:

"I can see the joy you feel with the things you do,
With all the pain and suffering you cause
You do it with a smile."

    Such powerful lines.
    Keep it up! :D
