Daddy Never Cared, He Never Cared At All.

** This isn't about me. I wrote this for my friend hoping to make her see what she is doing.**

You know what your doing as you walk up on that stage,
Dancing around for all to see,
As young as you are, you never looked like it,
You were always pretty, always one to stare at.
With older men leaning back in their chairs,
Not knowing how innocent this child dancing is.
They pay her another dollar to see her once again.
They smile with pleasure as she sits on their laps.

She goes home counting the money she makes,
And she smiles with all the attention she gets,
Because once she as home, she is ignored.
Daddy never cared for her,
He never cared at all.

So she went to seek attention in other men.
To please that void that was left by Dad.
Daddy shouts at her every night,
He's drunk, he stumbles and falls everywhere.
Telling her how pretty she is,
He touches her face, as they are in her bedroom.
And its another night that she won't forget.

Another day, another night. Its the same for her.
She dances around, smiling for all.
She thinks she is the queen sitting on a thrown.
Because all who watch her,
Just watch for pleasure.
