What i believe

What is there to believe in, in life
All we see is the hatred and strife
I believe there is more to life than what is deceived
I believe there is a dark veil covering that of what we are intrigued
All the love and hope in life is trapped in a sheath
Hidden away from the rest of the world so it can't breath
All the world is stuck in eternal desolation
No smiling to show jubilation
Everyone feels so alone sitting around without a blink
I believe that just what they want you to think
They want you to feel that you are alone
Cause you're less of a threat of stealing their throne
I believe that that's why we have our friends to hold us up
They pick you up you don't feel like a helpless pup
I will never let my friends fall to the pain that is left scarred to our souls
We go hand in hand and walk through finding and going through all the tiny loop hole
We wait for the afterlife to come where we can live free for real
We won't take our life to get there early, that's just how we feel
Don't look back or down on life when you become discouraged
Look at the up side and with your friends help become encouraged
Encouraged to make a stand and show you're not afraid
Show them that at this rate the world will slowly decay
Everyday the national debt burns a bigger hole in our pocket
We will fall to poverty watching our kids starve with nothing left but a picture in a locket
Today war is waging and men are running for their lives
The way everyone is talking I'm not getting good vibes
They say someday they'll bring them home but I don't see no change
Day after day the plans are changing from what had been arranged
Here it is five years later men are still dying
Mothers sit home crying
The government doesn't care because they are still lying
While the rest of the world sits around sighing
Waiting for the government to hold to their word
Because everyone including me believes that this is absurd
Our beliefs matter so let your voice ring out
Let's make the world hear us and turn to another route
