So you think you know me,
Or do you just know the things I've done!
Well I just want to tell you,
A new life I have begun!

You see I'm living for my father,
It's a selfish move I know!
But one day I saw the light,
It had such an alluring glow!

As I knelt down before the alter,
(THESE WORDS I BEGAN TO PRAY) !
Please GOD, take control of my life,
I can't go on (ANOTHER DAY) !

HE SAID, My son I'm so glad to hear those words!
I have waited so many years!
I have watched as you've climbed and fell,
But you never shed many tears!

I have made you many promises,
Long before the day of your birth!
I gave you life to live, as you choose!
You chose the pleasures of this earth!

So you want to know me!
Because you know the works I've done!
I have come to tell you.
A new life you have begun!

With open arms he said, Come to me!
And many blessings you will find!
I have so much in store for you!
But lets start with peace of mind!

Now I'm standing on his promises,
Learning from the book of life!
I am becoming a better man,
Free from all the stress and strife!

As I said before, It's a selfish move,
I must admit I'm doing this for me!
To lead a life, that only he can give,
In peaceful harmony!

So you think you know me!
But do you know what I've just done!
Well I just have to tell you ,
I have only just begun!
