Artic Reality ((Bang goes the gun))

by StandStill   May 15, 2008

Oh, silent sins,
written in icicles upon these walls,
whispering hate-filled words,
telling her of predestination to fall

Slick sheets of black ice,
crawling up her spine,
hot tears melt down the residue,
reminding her she's not fine

Anger fills the darkness
that seemed to live within her heart
screaming contridictions,
tear her painfullly apart

And every icy blow,
she feels so deep inside,
forces her further into the recesses-
silent caves within her mind

Try, dear reader, to remember a time,
a once upon a time of love and hope,
seems so far away,
hanging by the noose's rope

Heartbeats far too slow,
see her now, she's given in,
the cold has eaten her alive,
doesn't care about her sin

Can you hear the wind sighing
as she lays her screams herself to sleep?
BANG goes the burning gun
plunging her into the artic deep
