Years of Tears

by Erica   May 18, 2008

This girl has no love for herself inside
Her mirror image haunts her every night
When a bath of crimson flows
It rids of her many sorrows

A casket is her fantasy
Life is her long nightmare
Bottles of medication by her bedside
All are prescribed under order
Each one she swallows makes her sobby eyed
She thinks her family holds a burden over her
Living is a bad thing and suicide she had tried

She puts on the mask of which many people share
Wishing she wasn't there, life is so unfair
She loves to hate herself
Imperfections cannot easily be placed on a shelf

What a wonderful person she is
She puts a smile on other peoples faces
She has a heart full of gold
It's a shame she doesn't want to succeed
And go different places
