For No Reason

by Forever Broken   May 21, 2008

I used to wake up wishing to die
I used to stay up late just to cry
Things were rough enough from the start
and to add to it he went and broke my heart

Pain was an emotion I knew all too well
along with hatred for he who brought me to this hell
I was beginning to think I would never recover
From the heart break I got from my very first lover

Then one night I was on the swing at the park
And I sat all alone, thinking in the dark
I saw a dark figure drawing near
I tried to move, but was frozen with fear

As it walked closer to me
I began to realize
that the figure was someone
I actually recognized

You stood there before me
smiling so sweet
then walked to the swing beside me
and took a seat

I had met you at school
less then a year ago
but I never noticed
how your beauty stood out so

you asked what I was doing here
in the middle of the night
you must have seen the pain in my eyes
cus you asked if I was alright

I smiled and nodded
said I was okay
then you spoke up and said
you'd seen me here the other day

"Do you come here often?"
you asked with a smile
and that started us off
and we talked for awhile

I didn't know you real well
but there's one thing I new
that I would be here tommarow night
just to sit and talk with you

that was the first night in a while
and gurl i aint teasin
that I caught myself
smiling for no reason

WOW! This is such an amazing piece of writing. From the start till the end it was written so well - like a story from a fairytale where all ends up well. Excellent writing from your side. Keep it up! 5/5
