What does your 3 words signify?

by ECILA ice   May 24, 2008

I love you.

Is like a heart warming words
Found in each verses of the bible
Made to inspire one tormented life

But it could also be a curse
Sent by Satan, to betray and fool
One innocent soul,

I love you.

Can be a stunning star
Filling up an empty constellation
With a fulfilling light
That revives a plain hollow galaxy

Or it can be a merciless black hole
That will soon suck you forever
Into a world of nothingness
And trapped you into bewilderedness

I love you.

Opens up a door
Between the truth and a lie
It’s you who can only distinguish
Your real intention

But before you fit in the key
Into a sealed doorknob, think twice
Have pity to one truthful heart
Who only longs to be loved.

I Love your astronomical metaphors about one of the the three most powerful words in the universe. This poem also makes me think of how easily these words are spoken and the significance of the degree of truth
