Wish upon the moon

I watched how the sun hid its face behind that mountain
Then one by one I saw the stars keep coming as they sparkle
Then I noticed the orange moon shining so bright in the middle of that dark, mysterious sky
Thinking it was just a big star, I wished upon it..

Wishing someday he'll notice my heart's presence
Wishing someday he'll feel my love
so intense

Just after that I heard someone called my name
It's amazing how I heard the angels stroking their harps
and blowing their trumpets as he pronounce my J-E-N
I recognized that voice from it's very impact in my soul..
My soul suddenly wanna break free
It's like my purpose was fulfilled by his voice callin' me

He's the one that I love and I always will..
In my life.. he's simply its deep meaning..

He drew close to me
as I feel his breath kiss my face
He came nearer and nearer
as our bodies interlace

But then he turned his face away
and slowly whispered into my ears
That he could never love me back
the way I love him..
"Never could he love me back
the way I love him..."

For a moment..
Hearts stopped beating..
Trees stopped swaying..
Crickets stopped chirping..
And the moonlight was fading
As the heavens started crying..

He just said he's sorry
But what I'm feeling was bizarre
Guess we could never really go that far
as the stars

He kissed me goodbye
Then left me alone in that dark monsoon
"But baby, you'll forever be my wish upon the moon.."
