Our Last Goodbye

by Bored One   May 26, 2008

I wake up at 7:00 in the morning,
I walk to my closet grabbing my cloths,
Next is my mom waking from her snoring,
Then to school we hit the roads,

So close to the high school but still to young,
Off to middle school about a block away,
Now to chorus holding my tongue,
Cause one wrong word and you will play,

Next, to my locker to get my things,
I need pencil, calculator and paper,
Math is next where we learn knowledge of kings,
Math is over but I shall see it later,

Nutrition they call it,
Very uneventful,
Off to history in this boring seat I sit,
Teacher talks so slow it's boringly wonderful,

Lunch is up next,
This is a little more fun,
I see my friends gathered around to text,
They play their joke and make us run,

Last class of the day,
It's artistic and great,
You saw me today,
Then asked for a date,

You gave me a test,
I sadly failed,
My heart would not rest,
As it thrashed and flailed,

We said goodbye,
It was our last,
I left school as you walked by,
When I got home some time had passed,

I sat in my room,
Filled with regret,
Videogames were my tomb,
As I tried to forget,

Dinner with my family,
Homework ready to see,
I take my shower then to bed,
My day is over so I can rest my head.
