Just Because

by Bored One   Jun 12, 2008

What reason could it be?
That holds us here,
In this prison,
For half of our lives,

What reason could it be?
That we are where we are,
Here in this town,
Unknown to this world,

What reason could it be?
Is it the music that we hear?
The songs our choir sings?
Every rhythm and harmony?

What reason could it be?
Is it to inspire young writers?
To strive for greatness
Under the teachings of this land,

What reason could it be?
The reason lives al around us,
In every living thing,
Hear the voice of this land,
It says, "Just because."
