Veneer ((has become a prison))

by StandStill   May 27, 2008

Veneer to mask the pain,
it has become a cage with iron bars...
Staring out of windows
just trying to figure out where you are

I'm sorry that I don't understand,
guess I'm not good enough in that regard,
but you think that this is challenging for you?
My dear, for me, it's twice as hard..

Thump thump, a heartbeat quickens,
sickening in the dying fashion,
acceleration before total lack of motion,
dying-not living- has become your latest passion

So crash into the angel, dear,
see if I could care less...
I hate to be selfish, hate to be cliche,
but..I'm in a pain you cannot guess
