Portrait

A family portrait
Full of mystery and magic
Full of deception and lies
And a secret, strangely gripping.

The portrait reveals nothing
Only cleverly covered lies
And dusty cobwebs from centuries past and...
Maybe something as daunting as a room...

Filled with the sick sweet scent of candle wax
And dust that lies layered on the floor and tabletops,
Upon the large volumes of knowledge in an ancient language
And the smell of death that creeps from sealed, unopened vials,
Closed, forevermore.

The portrait can reveal more then noticeable
To the untrained eye and
Search will lead to discovery
And unattainable facts by moral ways.

Listen to all the clues
And search for that mystery
That will teach you about
Your family portrait.
