Seeping darkness

The light is leaving
As the darkness comes seeping in
Sad am I and unprepared
To be leaving this life we shared

Fear has set upon my soul
As this mystery starts to unfold
An uncharted journey has begun
But there is still so much left undone

Way to short this life has been
So many things still left unseen
As these thoughts swim in my head
So much still left unsaid

Goodbyes should not be chased
But death moves at a faster pace
Goodbye my darling don't be sad
Think upon the good times we had

Peace comes upon me
As death receives me
I leave this world
I am no more
